Freedom to practise poker as a religion?

Dear Father Ashley,

I live in the United States, Washington State to be specific. In the last couple of years our state legislature made internet poker a felony and recently the State Supreme Court upheld this law and as a result many of the internet poker sites have closed the accounts of Washington Residents.

Because the right to worship is guaranteed in the US, I need your help in firmly establishing the Church of Texas Hold'em as a legitimate religion, so I can regain my right to religeous freedom as guaranteed in the Constitution of the United States and play poker freely as the all mighty intended.

Quote from US First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Father Ashley's comments:

While I would love to pursue this idea, right now is not great timing for me personally... BUT, if enough people get behind the concept and volunteer to help promote it, then maybe... I always intended to get myself ordained as a priest for the COTH project, so let's put this out there and give it a try!
