Father Ashley's note: This is perhaps the worst piece of poker advice ever offered. And that's up against some very stiff competition! I've bolded out the best of her classic contribution...

Gain BIG on a monster

Have you ever gotten pocket aces and went all in right away? Maybe that wasn't the best decision.

Instead of risking all of your chips pre-flop, slow play your aces. You might want to keep checking and let someone else bet. Once this person has bet, you re-raise this person over the top, only if your aces are still strong.

This person will most likely call you, depending on how much chips you bet. Once the person has made the call, you have basically put yourself at a win-win situation.

Hope this tip works for you and you gain large amounts of money from it! (Very unlikely.)

Whilst I am not the world's greatest player (I am not even in the top ten yet) I believe there are several things wrong with your "advice".

Here's what my god (Harrington) says.

On most occasions pushing with pocket aces is an amateur play and will cost you money in the long run. You want people to call so why scare them away with an all in.

There are times when you should slow play aces but only if you have an aggressive player behind you who will raise the pot and you can come over the top.

The idea when you have a "monster" is to get all of your chips in the center but only if someone calls your bet.

So sayeth the exalted one !

Depends on the situation...

"only if your aces are still strong"

This reminds me of the one time I was playing "Half-life Hold'em" and got dealt "Radioactive Rockets". I made the mistake of slow-playing them in the first round of betting. By the time the flop came they'd decayed to Q8o...
