Play tight for a while, let them know that you're serious about the game and about the money at stake. The cards you actually turn over must be impressive, get the image in their heads that you are dangerous and not to be messed with.

If you achieve this, a raise by you means folding by most. Once you have established yourself as such, and after you win a few pots, start playing a little looser. Take advantage of the image you have set and scare your opponents out of easy pots.

Besides, if you keep playing this way you'll be too easy to read and you won't be able to get a decent sized pot. Try to keep that image fresh in their minds, but be unpredictable at the same time. And of course, make that money.
